Monkey Bandsman by ALPS is a simple variation of Trumpet Monkee, but is much more rare than his close cousin.
Monkey Bandsman features a right foot setting out a beat (Trumpet Monkee has a bell), and a Saxaphone (Trumpet Monkee has a Trumpet of course). They both have an issue with a pesky bee flying around their left ears. They use their left foot to try to shoo the bee way but fail every time. A fun toy to watch perform.
Today this toy commands a premium over its close cousin due to the increased rarity and the Sax/Drum combo is "cooler" than the Trumpet/bell combo. Both are worthy of any collection if in good condition.
