This circus themed character is brought to us by the Yonezawa mfg company of Japan. This company is now part of a company you may know as SEGA.
Long before being absorbed into SEGA, Yonezawa was known for quality toys and this Balloon Vendor clown is no exception. Made of mostly tin and fabric this clown sways back and forth while ringing his bell. Best of all they used a flexible rubber (vinyl?) material and a mechanism to make the clowns mouth open and close. We are not sure if he is talking or chewing gum but good clown manners says never both at the same time. The metal tray hanging from his neck holds an assortment of balloons for sale.
Operating from 2 D-cell batteries inserted from the bottom and an ON/OFF switch on the right side this Balloon Vendor clown would pair well with Balloon Blowing Monkey and Teddy Balloon Blowing Bear.
