Octopus Ride (Hayes Fabrication)

This Playland Octopus toy is mechanically based on the real-life 'Hayes Fabrication version used in real carnivals around the world.
ALPS manufactured this Octopus ride to mechanically operate exactly like its life-size Hayes counterpart except it only has four (4) "arms" as opposed to the real-life eight (8) arms. (Ed note: Shouldn't this toy be named a 'Tetrapus' since it only has four arms, not eight?)
Features 5 actions including spinning cars, flashing light, ring bell and forward / reverse remote control. This is a highly collectible 1950s toy due to its scarcity, many actions and wonderfully designed litho art.
Special Note: Did you see the white rabbit run across the bottom in the movie? We hide easter eggs everwhere :)
