Even though the Oldsmobile Tornado was not the worlds first Front-Wheel Drive Car it certainly did its part to bring the concept towards normalcy in American driveways coast to coast. 

In this fantastic replica made by Bandai (Japan) is just like its big brother with "front wheel" (mystery action) drive and working headlights. 

While the engine noise mechanism/drum is interesting it is the use of the moving headlight bar to "ground the lightbulbs" to turn them on that really got this engineer excited (Disclaimer: I have a BS in Mechancal Engineering so I am skewed).
